Justin Powell

Justin has the ability to shine a light on what matters most to his clients by developing deep, meaningful relationships with them.  He helps his clients create and maintain a flexible and strong financial plan specific to them and their unique needs, through discovering their goals, the emotional meaning and importance of these goals, and the established financial processes and strategies needed to pursue them. Justin finds great fulfillment in creating long-lasting relationships with his clients, and helping them light the way towards a brighter financial future through comprehensive financial planning and heart-centered personal connection.  

Justin joined the industry in 2016 with Edward Jones Investments and has been with LPL Financial since 2021.  He attended Western Carolina University and holds a B.S. in music with a concentration in Jazz Piano, and a minor in Business Administration.  

Locally, Justin recently ended his tenure as chairman of the board of directors of HCM, the largest food bank in North Carolina west of Asheville.  He is still heavily involved with HCM and their work.  He is currently on the board of directors of The Pearl Institute, a non-profit focused on bringing novel mental health treatments into the mainstream while focusing on reducing barriers to patient access. Both organizations continue to play a pivotal role addressing needs in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene for the people of WNC. 

Justin lives at Lake Junaluska just outside of Asheville, NC, with his wife, Tiffany, his daughter, Layla, and his son, Stephen.  When not helping his clients and volunteering, you can find him focused on his family, cooking with his award-winning BBQ team, on stage or in the studio with one of his musical projects, attending concerts with his wife and their friends, and staying active and healthy through yoga, hikes, and jogs around the lake.
